Our friend Gurmukh Bhasin finished teaching his first 3D concept class at www.conceptartworkshop.com. The project was to design a single seat fighter spaceship that fits in the Star Citizen universe. We used the Gladius as a good example of what they were striving to create as it is a really beautiful ship. Some stayed with Aegis as their manufacturer others did Origin. I provided them with a small 3D concept kit to get started but in the end they mostly created 100% their own parts. Check out this Aegis Nemesis 3d concept by Marc Goliszek.

Hi Concept Shipsers! Thanks for all of the submissions over the last few weeks. I have taken a short time off to focus on an amazing project and will start posting again shortly. Some of you might know that Travis Bourbeau from CGSociety was amazing enough to hold a concept spaceship design challenge in my honor to celebrate their 15 year anniversary. This is going to be an amazing platform and opportunity for me to get to watch your design process while simultaneously modeling/painting along side of you. I really hope you enter THRUST: A concept spaceship design competition, which will be announced shortly.
I have a favor to ask in the meantime. Travis and I are looking for prize donations to be given out to the finalists for the THRUST design competition. I know that a lot of you work in the tech space for amazing firms/companies and we would love anything techie that you or your company would like to promote/give out as prizes. Software, tablets, games, phones...etc. CGSociety has over 600,000 subscribers and Concept Ships has around 20,000. I would make sure that a proper logo and a description of the product(s) donated would be advertised and promoted respectfully. Travis is bringing so much to table and I would like to pull my own weight in this category. I will also donate 20 direct to garment t-shirts with winning entries printed on them from our t-shirt shop.
